Welcome! My name is Mrs. Watson, and I am so excited to serve in the role of the instructional math coach at Carpenter Elementary. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself. I have taught multiple grade levels ranging from 1st to 3rd grades in the Ann Arbor Public School District for over a decade. Most of my years of teaching have been right here at Carpenter, so I consider this home. Prior to that, I served as a teaching assistant for the Ann Arbor Public School District for a few years.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology degree majoring in Human Development and Family Science with a specialization in Human Services from The Ohio State University. Also, I obtained a Master of Arts in Elementary Education from The University of Phoenix. In addition to that, I received my K-12 Administration certificate from Eastern Michigan University.

It truly brings me joy to partner with staff to ensure that our students obtain high academic, social, and emotional achievement.
